Major breakthroughs. Answered prayers that arrive with fireworks. Spiritual highs that feel unmistakable and dramatic. But Scripture tells a quieter, truer story. **Most of the joy God gives His people grows out of small faithfulness practiced over time.** Advent joy rarely shouts. More often, it whispers. **1\. God Works Through Small Things on Purpose** The story of Jesus’ birth is built almost entirely out of smallness: - a young woman saying yes - a carpenter choosing obedience - a long journey taken without fanfare - a child born without status - a manger instead of a palace - shepherds instead of scholars Nothing about the incarnation looks impressive by the world’s standards. And yet — this is how God changes everything. If you feel like your faithfulness is quiet, ordinary, or unseen, Advent gently reminds you: **that’s exactly how God likes to work.** **2\.
